Professional Development Grants and Funding

We regret to inform you that we are no longer able to offer iEL (Independent Experiential Learning) funding.

However, we are excited to introduce a new funding opportunity through the UofA Career Center: the Professional Development and Experiential Learning Fund (PDEL).  PDEL has been established to support your professional growth and experiential learning endeavors.

PDEL covers 100% of the activity cost for activities with expenses ranging from $7 to $250.

Eligible Activities: While not restricted to these examples, eligible activities include:

• Leadership conferences and seminars
• Skill-building workshops and courses
• Meetings and events hosted by professional associations
• Experiential learning activities
