Jo-Louise Huq, PhD Candidate, Business (supervisor: Dr. Trish Reay)
Jo-Louise is continuing her research on adolescent addiction treatment programs in Edmonton.

Yasmeen Krameddine, PhD Candidate, Psychiatry (supervisor: Dr. Peter Silverstone)
Yasmeen is continuing her research concerning the treatment of those with mental illness and addiction, with particular attention to the role of police officers.  Yasmeen passed her candidacy exam Fall 2013.

Chang Lu, PhD Candidate, Business (supervisor: Dr. Trish Reay)
Chang is working with Dr. Trish Reay to analyze mechanisms that explain the increasing integration of health, justice and community logics in addictions treatment.

Erin Martin, PhD Candidate, Psychiatry (supervisor: Dr. Peter Silverstone)
Erin is in her second year of the PhD program, and she continues to work on research related to child sexual abuse education and prevention.

Evelyn Micelotta, PhD Candidate, Business (supervisor: Dr. Trish Reay)
Evelyn’s research looks at understanding implications for effective treatment of addictive disorders through investigations of the evolution of the definition of addiction as part of social change.

Jian Wang, PhD Candidate, Public Health (supervisor: Dr. Arto Ohinmaa)
Jian is in her third year of the PhD program, and is continuing her research on the cost of addictions to the economy and cost-effectiveness of treatment methodologies. 

Guilin (Serena) Zhang, PhD Candidate, Business (supervisor: Dr. Michelle Inness
Guilin is working on a study with Dr. Michelle Inness and Dr. Ian Gellatly that will examine barriers and facilitators to addictions treatment seeking.
