Shauna is a designated Family Enterprise Advisor™ who was born into a third generation business family and has been actively and effectively promoting, educating and supporting outreach programs for entrepreneurs and business families for over 11 years.

The Alberta Business Family Institute and the Business Families Foundation are proud to present a 9 hour workshop on Communication and Conflict Management for Business Families delivered in both Calgary and Edmonton. 
This educational program was developed to address the complexities of communication in a family business setting. This workshop is divided into three modules and combines communication theory with the advice and experience of family business owners and scholars. 

This Workshop will:
Provide a communication theory primer, illustrating how you communicate is more impactful than what you communicate
- Build awareness of the intricacies of communication and better understand your own communication style
Addresses the delicate balance of family and business communication and discuss helpful practice to manage it
- Learn to appreciate and manage the unique dynamics of communicating in a family business setting
Identifies the common causes of conflict in business families and learn different techniques to constructively handle conflict
