Overview

This series of webinars is geared to family businesses from all disciplines who seek to deepen their understanding and begin the process of transition planning. Transition planning is a natural process in a successful family enterprise and one that can (and should) be positive and empowering.

The main focus is to give an overview of the process and provide communication and governance strategies that will enable business owners to confidently chart their transition plan. This is supported by a comprehensive workbook containing tools, templates and resources.

January 6 | Session 1: Overview of the Family Business System & the 3 Circle Model

January 20 | Session 2: Focus on the Family Circle

February 3 | Session 3: Focus on the Business Circle

February 17 | Session 4: Focus on the Ownership Circle

February 24 | Session 5: Communication and Conflict Management for the Family Enterprise

March 3 | Session 6: Establishing a Family Circle and Developing a Family Constitution

March 17 | Session 7: Establishing an Advisory Board

March 31 | Session 8: Establishing an Ownership Council and Policies

After completing all 8 sessions participants receive a "Certificate of Completion.''

Participants will have an opportunity to attend a missed session when the Masterclass Series is offered again.
