Student Feedback
The feedback from students who have taken BUEC 444 has been overwhelmingly positive. Each year upon completion of the China Study Tour, we do a feedback survey to gauge the success of the course and gather impressions from those who participated. Below are a few results and some interesting outcomes of those feedback surveys.
- 99% of past participants said the course met or exceeded expectations
- 99% of past participants would recommend this course to others
- 89% of past participants indicated the value received for the personal cost of the Study Tour was "high" or "very high"

What is one thing you learned from participating on the China Study Tour?
"It is impossible to pick one thing. I learned so much, more than any class I have taken at the U of A. I learned how to work with different people and learn about the Chinese way of doing business. I gained more hands on experience with Chinese business practices and how they differ from those in Canada. I was exposed to a vast gap in standard of living that I had never seen before. These experiences were definitely valuable and I learned so much in such a short period of time."
