International UG Study Tour: Japan

In cooperation with the University of Alberta Bachelor of Commerce program, the Alberta School of Business International Office is offering students the unique opportunity to participate on an International Study Tour to Japan during the Spring. The Study Tour combines lectures and assignments at the University of Alberta during the Winter Term with a 12-day on-site study tour of Tokyo, Nagoya and Kyoto in May. During the in-country study tour, students will participate in company visits and lectures at partner universities as well as some cultural and sightseeing activities in order to gain first-hand experience and understanding of the unique business culture and context of Japan. Successful completion of the study tour and related academic components is worth 3 credits towards a BCom degree.

An Information Session for the 2020 BUEC 444 - International Study Tour will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 5:00PM in BUS 1-10 for all interested students. A presentation of the course details will be given followed by a question and answer period. Details regarding the course's costs, schedule, and registration will be provided during the session.

This page will be updated with additional information following the information session. In the meantime, feel free to contact the coordinator.
