Student Ambassador Program

Student ambassadors, who are third and fourth-year undergraduate Business students, are a key component in promoting the Alberta School of Business. They are enthusiastic student leaders who are passionate about their studies and the School, and want to share this passion with others. Working closely with the External Relations office, they represent the School at special events and participate in ongoing donor, alumni, and other external relations functions, as well as student recruitment activities.


Commitment and Responsibilities

Student Ambassadors commit a minimum of ten hours per term to the University of Alberta School of Business to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Assist at events involving donors, alumni, and members of the business community.
  • Assist with donor recognition programs.
  • Assist in welcoming and accommodating Executives in Residence who visit the University to share their business experience.
  • Assist in student recruitment activities by talking to high school students and staffing an Alberta School of Business booth at recruitment fairs.
  • Promote the University of Alberta School of Business, its programs and students at various events and other opportunities.
