University Relations Calgary (URC) is the integrated face of the University of Alberta in Calgary. Responsible for managing operations for the University of Alberta Calgary Centre, University Relations Calgary focuses on building the academic profile and reputation of the U of A in Calgary and area. URC staff work internally with the other faculties resident at the Centre and at various U of A campuses as well as with external parties to deliver timely and relevant U of A content to this market.

Within this portfolio, University Relations Calgary advances a full range of community engagement priorities in southern Alberta through relationship building, communication and value-added service. These include:
- Connecting the U of A with members of the community
- Engaging local media to offer U of A expertise on matters of community interest as well as promoting the U of A story
- Connecting with current and prospective U of A students and facilitating their relationship from Calgary with the university
- Disseminating knowledge of U of A programs and initiatives

Through activities such as lectures, young alumni programs, donor recognition events, as well as reaching out regularly through our daily operations, the University of Alberta continues to grow to serve the needs of supporters in southern Alberta.
