Camp fYrefly

Calgary

Camp fYrefly for Calgary and Southern Alberta is hosted through a partnership with the Centre for Sexuality. We are grateful to host our camp on the land which includes the traditional territories of the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuu T’ina and the Stoney Nakoda First Nations as well as the Metis Nation of Alberta, Region III. Camp fYrefly held its inaugural camp in Southern Alberta in the summer of 2013.

There are many ways that you can become involved with Calgary Camp fYrefly as a volunteer, donor, or community supporter – if you are interested in more information about the Calgary Camp, please contact the coordinator at cfcgy@ualberta.ca

Camp fYrefly-Calgary is greatly appreciative of the amazing support we have received from the Calgary community, including financial support from many individuals and organizations such as ATB Financial, TELUS, The Calgary Foundation, YYC Cycle, Dawg Tired, Hillhurst United Church, and Deer Park United Church.

All funds donated to Camp fYrefly-Calgary stay in Calgary and are used to support the local camp. All donations are eligible for a charitable donation receipt.
