2019 Space Camps
Space Minis (Going into Grades 1-2) (Half-Day Afternoon) *New* - Excited about space? Learn about constellations, the moon, our solar system, astronauts, rockets, and more. Visit our meteorite collection and observatory to see space science taking place in the Faculty of Science.
*Can be combined with Chemistry or Inventor Minis
Space Juniors (Going into Grades 3-4) - A great way to launch into the out-of-this-world field of space science. Learn all about the solar system, space rocks, space exploration, robotics, and more.
Space Explorers (Going into Grades 5-6) - Explore space science concepts through activities in hands-on rocketry, meteorites and crater impacts, spectral analysis, the power of the sun, astronaut safety, and space landers.
Space Challengers (Going into Grades 7-8) - Get up close with meteorites from our collection, build and design your own model rockets, test virtual rockets with the Kerbal Space Program, practice working at mission control, and much more. Learn about space science through opportunities in hands-on exploration, discovery, and critical thinking.
