23 September 2021

As you are aware, the University of Alberta implemented a Restrictions Exemption Program on September 20, 2021. The Restrictions Exemption Program provides operators with direction to meet or exceed the requirements of the program at all times.

Campus & Community Recreation at the University of Alberta is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients. As such we have implemented the following (see below).

PLEASE NOTE: Although we acknowledge that some sport and recreation facilities have elected to require proof of vaccination only from adults 18 and older, the University of Alberta requires all youth and adults (12 and older) to produce a proof of vaccination or negative test for facility and program access on both North and South campuses.

We appreciate your support and understanding during this challenging time. Our goal is to provide safe and healthy physical activity opportunities for all of our clients. Above all, we ask for kindness and patience in working with our staff members. We expect this process will cause delays, however, we will do our best to conduct our checks to ensure the safety of all students, staff, and community members.
