Arena Attendant (Casual)

Campus and Community Recreation is accepting applications for Arena Attendants to work on a casual basis in the Clare Drake Arena. The shifts are predominantly evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities include

  • Operate Zamboni ice resurfacer
  • Operate power edger
  • Light duty building maintenance
  • Customer service

  • Event set up and take down

Qualifications 

  • Current Standard First Aid, CPR Level C and AED training (no exceptions)
  • Excellent communication skills and professional attitude
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience is an asset but willing to train the right candidate

Wage: $15.99/hr + 4% vacation pay, 3.46% stat pay, (1.5% premium pay for U of A students)
