Figure Skating Club
The Figure Skating Club is made up of approximately 40 figure skaters from all faculties at the University of Alberta. The Club strives to promote an opportunity for students to continue participation in figure skating at a competitive or recreational level, offering regular ice times during the week. The focus of the Figure Skating Club is on practice, not instruction. The Club offers great opportunities to socialize with other Club members off the ice and awards prizes to members for attending Club practices.
Minimum requirements to join the Club include having passed all Skate Canada preliminary tests (or equivalent) and having a basic understanding of Figure Skating etiquette (it is not a learn-to-skate program).
