Healthy University Strategic Plan

Developing the Healthy University Strategic Plan

Human Resource Services, the Office of the Dean of Students and the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation have come together with the support of the Provost's Office to lead the development of a Healthy University Strategic Plan.

The purpose of the plan is to establish actions that will encourage a university culture that supports the health and well-being of students, faculty and staff. The initiative shares the aspirations outlined in the Okanagan Charter, for health-promoting universities and colleges whereby "health-promoting postsecondary institutions infuse health into everyday operations, business practices and academic mandates".
