Who is at the Centre?

Visitors to the University of Alberta's Calgary Centre can expect to be welcomed by a series of U of A administrative units and faculty satellite offices, including:

Campus Saint-Jean

Campus Saint-Jean is the University of Alberta's French-language teaching institution. It has established itself as an indispensable research institution in the fields of science, arts, social sciences, education and language teaching. The campus, which has 40 researchers, is distinguished by its interdisciplinary research, promoting alliances and collaborations between disciplines. The campus is home to over 80 research projects in 14 areas of expertise.

From the start of the 2021-2022 academic year, those wishing to become teachers will have the possibility of following part of the Bachelor of Education program in a satellite campus near their home town, in the framework of a three-year pilot project supported at the federal and provincial levels. These first two years will indeed be provided for the francophone and francophile communities in CalgaryGrande Prairie and Red Deer.
