How do I know if I am eligible to apply?
Admission requirements vary by program. Please see the programs programs section  to learn more about the academic requirements for our college, undergraduate and graduate programs.
How much is the application fee, and how do I pay it?
The application requires a deposit of $125 CAD. It is payable online by credit card, or in person by cash, debit or credit card.

Once you have been admitted to your program, you will be asked to pay a deposit of $500 (Permanent Residents or Canadians) or $1000 (International Students) to confirm your acceptance. This amount is payable by credit card.
How much is tuition?

Tuition fees vary depending on your status in Canada and your choice of program. We recommend that all prospective students use this fee calculator tool to get a detailed and personalized estimate.

We have also prepared a guide to help you navigate the calculator.

Do you have programs that are delivered remotely?

Yes.

Two programs at the Centre collégial de l'Alberta (Éducation à la petite enfance and Technique en administration des affaires) offer the option of distance education.

For all of our undergraduate programs, the vast majority of courses are face-to-face and students must be present to complete the program.

For our graduate programs, course offerings are both in-person and online.

Do you have a pre-med program?
There is no pre-med program per se. The majority of medical schools in Canada will require applicants to have a minimum of 60 university credits in specific courses for admission. Thus, a first registration in any university program is a prerequisite. It is important that you find out the requirements of the medical school you are interested in.
How do I declare or change my major/minor?
The choice of major/minor is made through the application form when you decide on your priority choices.

A change of program or major/minor prior to admission can be made on the Launchpad platform prior to the stated deadline. After the deadline, you must contact Student Connect to make a change to the initial application for admission.

Once admitted, program changes, major/minor will be made with the assistance of the academic advisors.
Can I transfer credits completed at another university?
Yes.

We cannot evaluate the transfer of credit until you have submitted your application. Therefore, you must complete your application first. Once your application has been evaluated, Campus Saint Jean may transfer up to 60 completed credits to another institution under certain conditions.
How long does it take to process applications?
There is no set deadline for receiving an offer of admission.

When your application is submitted, please review the checklist on the LaunchPad platform to determine the status of your file. Be sure to provide the required documents by the deadline. Once your file is complete and evaluated, you will receive the final decision from the Admissions Office via email to your @ualberta.ca email account.
