BAT Admission Requirements
Applicants to the Business Administration Tech (BAT) program must meet these criteria.
- Mathematics
- Successful completion of one of the following courses (or the equivalent, depending on your province or country of origin):
- Pure Mathematics 30
- Applied Mathematics 30
- Mathematics 30-1 or 30-2
- Successful completion of one of the following courses (or the equivalent, depending on your province or country of origin):
- French
- Have successfully completed one of the following courses (or the equivalent, depending on your province or country of origin):
- French 30-1 or 30-2
- French 30
- French 31
- French Language Arts 30-1 or 30-2
- Have successfully completed one of the following courses (or the equivalent, depending on your province or country of origin):
- English
- Successful completion of the following course (or equivalent depending on your province or country of origin):
- English Language Arts 30-1 or 30-2
OR - Obtain a minimum score from among the following tests, which were administered two years or less prior to entry into the programme:
- A minimum score of 80 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) internet-Based Test (iBT) and an individual test component score of less than 20.
- A minimum score of 550 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) if the test was taken on paper.
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS): a minimum overall score of 6.5 and a score in any section of not less than 5.0.
- Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL): a minimum score of 70.
- Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB): minimum score of 85.
- English Language Arts 30-1 or 30-2
- Successful completion of the following course (or equivalent depending on your province or country of origin):
- Other courses
- Year 11 at a publicly funded school, or equivalent depending on province or country of origin
- Studies in a French-speaking or French immersion school
- Other students must take a DELF B2 level French test.
- If the test is not passed, the French course offered by the Language School must be completed in order to obtain the certificate or diploma.
- Minimum overall average of 65
- Year 11 at a publicly funded school, or equivalent depending on province or country of origin
