Students in a lab

Bachelor of Science

Program Description

The Bachelor of Science is a 4-year program. Students who choose a Bachelor of Science also choose an avenue that is wide open with possibility and promise. Many of them are passionate about health sciences, such as biology and physiology, as well as science areas such as mathematics, physics, chemistry and more. Our students have the opportunity to put all their knowledge into practice in new laboratories which have been specifically designed to respect the environment, particularly through reduced water consumption, low electricity consumption and the use of products that are not harmful to the environment or to personal health. These facilities and initiatives have earned our laboratories the Gold Level Green Lab certifications and recognition as Model Green Labs from the University of Alberta.
