Engineering (First year)
Program Description
Campus Saint-Jean, in collaboration with Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta, offers students the opportunity to study their first year of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSc Eng) in French. Students starting out at Campus Saint-Jean have the advantage of smaller class sizes for first-year courses and more individual support from teachers and professors.
The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta offers co-operative programs in which the in-class student experience and theoretical knowledge is enriched with invaluable practical experience in the student's chosen engineering field.
Students attending Campus Saint-Jean also have access to a variety of scholarships, adding to all that engineering has to offer!
The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta is well-known for its excellent corps of professionals and for dynamic scientific research, with more than $52 million given in external grants every year. New research facilities in the Faculty of Engineering at U of A house the Natural Resources Engineering Facility (NREF) and the National Institute for Nanotechnology (NINT) and the Micromachining and Nanofabrication Facility.
