Research Office

At the service of researchers, the Office of Research was created in 2005 with the aim of contributing to capacity development and the continued growth of research.

Mission of the Research Office

  • Recommend researchers and accompany them through their funding process,
  • Assist researchers in the administration and management of grants,
  • Value research carried out at campus and research results obtained within the Campus
  • Support research planning activities, creation and innovation
  • Ensure that ethics-related regulations are respected.

Mandate of the Research Office

  • Collaborate with researchers in the development of their funding plans,
  • Assist researchers in preparing their application for internal and external funding,
  • Review scientific articles and application for subsidies,
  • Share information on funding agencies and their funding programs,
  • Build and maintain relations with granting agencies and organizations,
  • Organise information sessions and workshops in collaboration with financial institutions,
  • Manage the Campus' funding programs,
  • Prepare contracts for research assistants and review agreements,
  • Process expense claims,
  • Organise and update funding-related databases,
  • Promote and advertise research findings,
  • Organise and update the research strategic plan of Campus Saint-Jean
