CILLDI 2018 Summary of Potential Costs
The following is a summary of potential costs to attend CILLDI 2018. Please see the explanations of each item below for further details.

If you attended CILLDI or the University of Alberta in 2017, you do not need to re-apply for admission or pay an application fee.
If you attended CILLDI or the University of Alberta in 2016 or earlier, the fee is $75.
For all new students, the fee to apply to the University is $125.

Course materials (books, course pack) should not cost more than $20 per course.
If you do not live in the Edmonton-area, do not have friends or family in the area, or would simply prefer to stay on campus, Schäffer Hall offers single rooms for a special rate of $45.00 per night plus taxes when you book under the group name CILLDI 2018. This residence hall is located one block from the main campus within walking distance from the classrooms. This rate does not include a meal service. Many other housing opportunities are available, including family housing, but at a higher rate.

Please budget for your own cost of meals, as very few accommodation options have kitchens to cook in.
If you are bringing a car to Edmonton and want to park on campus during CILLDI, the cost of parking will be approximately $118 per month, depending on where you park. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to obtain a parking pass.
You may have to include travel costs in your budget if you are coming from out of town.
