CIUS has designated some funds from the Dr. Ivan Iwanciw and Dr. Myroslawa Mysko-Iwanciw Endowment Fund for the purpose of travel to Ukraine.
Scholars affiliated with the University of Alberta may apply by 1 March 2018 for support to travel for a conference or another academic pursuit in Ukraine. The letter of application should provide details about the academic conference or activity and the amount requested. Preference will be given to projects within the area of Ukrainian studies. Applicants must be affiliated with the University of Alberta.
The amount of any award that is approved will depend on the number of applications received and considered, and the available funds in the CIUS budget.
