The Cancer Research Institute of Northern Alberta (CRINA) is a Pan-university translational institute that aims to:
- Educate researchers, public and special interest groups about the value of translational cancer research
- Facilitate collaboration and access to resources; make every research dollar go farther to generate impactful discoveries
- Facilitate translation on all levels; increasing commercialization, knowledge translation and clinical uptake—from benchside, through boardroom to bedside and back
To be an internationally competitive comprehensive cancer center with excellence in cancer research and education; wherein clinical outcomes are addressed with scientific inquiry and where research drives innovations in cancer prevention, treatment and survivorship.
