About The Dr. Olive Yonge Teaching and Learning Scholarship Day
Subtitled Through the Looking Glass: Reflecting on the Scholarship of Teaching Learning, the Dr. Olive Yonge Teaching and Learning Scholarship Day is in honour of an exceptional teacher and scholar at the Faculty of Nursing and is in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the discipline and profession of nursing.

Dr. Yonge is the recipient of numerous awards, including the prestigious 3M Teaching Fellowship, the Rutherford Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching, and a Vargo Distinguished Teaching Chair.

An experienced nurse, educator, and chartered psychologist with a focus in conflict resolution, Dr. Yonge's clinical area of expertise is psychiatric/ mental health nursing.
