About Us
The Writing Across the Curriculum program at the University of Alberta pursues three goals:
- Work with faculty administrators, with individual faculty members, and with faculty groups at university-wide workshops to improve writing instruction for students.
- Support student writers in the disciplines with a variety of interventions: lectures, online resources, and group tutoring
- Reach out to the broader Campus Alberta and secondary school systems to build relationships and smooth the transition to university writing demands.
