Call for Applications: Chinese Government Scholarships

Each year, the Chinese Government provides a number of full and partial scholarships enabling Albertans to study in China. The eligibility is wide-ranging and includes: Alberta high school graduates, post-secondary students and scholars wishing to participate in academic study at the undergraduate or graduate level, conduct scholarly research, or participate in Chinese language studies.

The language of instruction is primarily Chinese, with a small number of programs are taught in English. In addition, the program may sponsor and recommend remedial Chinese language studies for applicants who are not applying for the Chinese language study program.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2011/2012 Chinese Government Scholarship program with studies commencing in September 2011. The deadline to apply is December 17, 2010.
