The City-Region Studies Centre (CRSC), Infill Development in Edmonton Association (IDEA), the City of Edmonton and Stantec in explored these and other questions as part of an interactive tour examining the infill movement in Edmonton. The public's voice is important in building a local dialogue around the future of infill in Edmonton.
At the Infill Tour events, participants had the opportunity to:
- Learn about infill and Edmonton's Infill Strategy, through a guided tour of a few of Edmonton's mature neighbourhoods
- Meet expert stakeholders, architects, developers, and city-planners
- Work with experts to explore the links between infill of the past, present, and future and the city
- Engage in a dialogue about infill and possible urban futures
