Community Service-Learning-to-Work Pathway: A CSL and Career Centre Collaboration

CSL gratefully acknowledges the generous donation by Eileen Mercier which makes the Pathways program possible.

The Pathway is a journey through the non-profit sector including a paid summer internship. An expansion of CSL course placements and the Non-Profit Board Internship program, the Pathway allows U of A students to experience and reflect on a rich and varied set of experiences with Edmonton community organizations.

The Pathway will create opportunities to learn about and integrate:
  • Front line volunteer work
  • Governance processes within non-profit boards
  • Project-based work with community
  • Work experiences
