Contributing to the Web

Members of the department are able to submit a variety of content such as event information. Most of this content is added through simple forms and must be approved by the webmaster before it is published to the web.

If you are having trouble with authentication or web permissions contact the helpdesk (ist@ualberta.ca).

Submitting an Event

1) Go to the Event Submission Page or click the "Submit an Event" button on the Events Page.

2) You will be prompted to log in using your CCID. You must be a member of the Computing Science Department to do so.

3) Carefully follow the instructions provided on the submission page. Please use the markup provided on the submission form to ensure your event is formatted correctly.

4) Your event will be processed within 1 business day of submission.

Submitting a Job Posting

1) Go to the Job Submission Page or click "Post a Job Opportunity" in the left navigation of the Job Listings Page.

2) Enter the appropriate information for your listing.

3) Your event will be processed within 1 business day of submission.

Other Content

To update any other content on the Computing Science Department website, such as research meetings, labs, etc, please email csweb@ualberta.ca with your request.
