In order to be considered for the School in Cortona, you must submit an application through the University of Alberta Horizons portal. Once we confirm your eligibility requirements, we will contact you with further steps.
If you are a non-UAlberta student, and you would like to transfer credit from the School in Cortona to your current academic program, you will also need to apply for “Visiting Student” status at UAlberta. We will first require you to submit an application to the School in Cortona, and email us an unofficial copy of your transcript to email@example.com. Once you are considered for admission, we will advise you of the process of how to apply to the University of Alberta.
Please contact the School in Cortona administrator directly at firstname.lastname@example.org . You will be asked to provide a “Letter of Permission” from your home institution and your official transcripts from your home institution and copies of transcripts from any other post-secondary institution that you attended.
Once we receive your application, you will hear from us within 5 business days. If you present the academic requirements, explained on the eligibility section, you will be offered condition admission. At this point, you will be given access to additional sections in Horizons and will need to have a medical clearance form complete by a physician. Once the remainder of your application is received, you will be offered final admission.
