Government and public health authorities will be sharing daily announcements regarding preventative measures to help protect us against the global spread of COVID-19.
Your University of Alberta leaders and emergency management team are monitoring these announcements in real time to determine the implications for the U of A community. When new information is available, we will provide updates here as soon as possible.
Today (March 16), the Government of Canada announced new travel restrictions, including closing Canadian borders to most non-citizens or non-permanent residents.
The impact of these new travel restrictions on the U of A community are being determined and will be posted here soon.
