Monthly Edmonton-wide critical care ultrasound rounds (ABaCCUS) are held by the University of Alberta, Department of Critical Care Medicine. The goals of ABaCCUS rounds are to provide a structured forum for ongoing education, discussion, support and case review in the area of CCUS. Through rounds, we hope to build the collective knowledge and experience of acute care providers across Edmonton and increase the understanding and application of this versatile tool in the caring for the critically ill.
ABaCCUS Rounds are an accredited CME activity (Section 1: Learning Activity) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, approved by the Department of Critical Care Medicine Continuing Education.
