Registration Guidelines

Our goal is to provide professional academic support in a timely manner. This policy enables us to better utilize our advisors' time for students in need of academic support.


To schedule an appointment or register for a workshop, please call us at 780-492-2682. You may also register for workshops online.

We encourage you to schedule appointments or register for workshops at least 1 or 2 weeks in advance as our advisors can be in high demand.

Cancelling or Rescheduling

In order to be respectful of the academic needs of the University's student community, please be courteous and call the Academic Success Centre as soon as possible if you are unable to attend an appointment or workshop.

If it is necessary to cancel/reschedule your appointment or registration, we require that you contact our office at least 24 hours in advance. Due to high demand for appointments and workshops, advanced notice will allow other students to access our services.

Late Cancellations

Cancellations received with less than 24 hours' notice will be considered "no shows", and refunds (where applicable) will not be issued.

No Show Policy

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment or workshop without proper cancellation notice will be recorded in your file as a "no show", and a refund (where applicable) will not be issued.
