Tutor Services

The ACCESS team works closely with the Centre for Writers and the U of A Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences to provide tutoring services, free of charge, to students. We also want to provide students with the information and tools to prepare for a session with one of our trained tutors.

The following outlines what you can expect when you attend a tutoring session for support in math or writing:

Maybe you forgot some of the concepts you learned in high school, or just need some support in the areas of calculus and linear algebra. Whatever the case may be, our tutors focus on helping students succeed and progress through foundational concepts in math. If you need additional support beyond what our tutor service can offer you, we will do our best to connect you to the appropriate academic support you need.

Trained tutors from the Centre for Writers team can assist students with any style or level of writing and are happy to help students from all backgrounds.
