Training opportunities for all students and staff

Service Notice

To support physical distancing benefits with regard to the spread of COVID-19, there are immediate changes to Community Social Work Team operations. All in-person meetings and events have been cancelled for the remainder of Winter Term 2020, and the office will remain closed until further notice. CSWT staff are available Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for remote services, including email or Google Hangout. Students are urged to email cswteam@ualberta.ca to access remote services.

The Community Social Work Team provides support to all U of A students, staff, and faculty in connecting to each other and the campus community by facilitating a variety of training sessions, prevention programs, and peer connection activities. Our team is approachable, knowledgeable, and a great resource in providing consultation to support others and enhance the campus community.

Connecting to your campus community plays an important role to your overall well-being. Everyone at the University of Alberta has a role to play in helping our campuses build community, decrease loneliness, and build capacity to help ourselves and each other.
