A Keynote Presentation with Karen B.K. Chan

#Metoo marks a monumental shift in our lives. What else can we do besides raising awareness, taking a stance, and believing survivors? How do we make room for healing in the midst of anger? What will we create in place of what we take down?

About Karen B.K. Chan Karen
B.K. Chan is a sex and emotional literacy educator in Toronto, Canada, with over twenty years of experience. Trained in creative facilitation, productive thinking, and non-violent communication, B.K. Chan's favourite ways to learn and educate are through stories, metaphors, diagrams, and things that make people laugh.

We are collaborating with the Department of Women's and Gender Studies and femlab to host an exhibition entitled 'Breaking the Silence.' This exhibition will reflect on the progress made towards breaking silence on sexual violence in the past decades, as well as towards a future free of sexual violence.
