Diabetes & Endocrine Update: 2021 Online Series

Course Description

This online series will be held each week in October on Thursday nights from 7:00-8:00 PM MST. Each week will be a different theme:

  • Week 1 (Oct 7): Obesity & PCOS
  • Week 2 (Oct 14): Diabetes New Agents & Technologies
  • Week 3 (Oct 21): Male Hypogonadism & Male Infertility
    Week 4 (Oct 28): Hyperthyroidism in Pregnancy & Hypothyroidism in Pregnancy

The format will be a “Meet the Professor” session, whereby a case is discussed with learning objectives. Sessions will be interactive with audience participation.

This online series has received full accreditation by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for a 1 hour per session for a maximum of 4 hours. Accredited Group Learning Activity Section 1.

This Group Learning program has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Alberta Chapter for up to 4.00  Mainpro+ credits.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of the program, participants should be able to:

  • Describe and use new agents and technologies in the management of diabetes
  • Develop an approach to diagnosis, management and follow up of common Endocrine Conditions
