Many of you asked me to invite young planners to speak with us. To fulfill your request, I have arranged four of our recent graduates (from BA/BSc and MSc programs), who are engaged in planning practice locally, to speak in a panel setting. Together, they represent the three major sectors of the economy - public, private and civil society. I will moderate the session as per your and GAPSS' request.

Stephanie Kovach is the Community Planning Advisor with the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues, where she assists communities in creating vibrant, connected spaces. She is a graduate of the BA Planning program.

Mariah Samji is the Executive Director for IDEA the Infill Development in Edmonton Association. She holds a Bachelor's of Education as well as a Bachelor's of Arts specializing in Human Geography.

Felipe Canavera is a Planner I in the City of Edmonton's Zoning Bylaw Renewal Initiative. He holds a MSc in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor's in Architecture from the National University of Colombia.

Lucas Sherwin is a Project Planner with Green Space Alliance, a local planning firm. He holds a BSc degree with a specialization in Planning from the University of Alberta.
