KGK Meet and Greet

The East Asian Studies Undergraduate Student Group, KGK, invites East Asian Studies students to a Meet and Greet on Thursday, September 29th from 4:00-6:00 in Telus Centre Atrium.

20 September 2011

The Department of East Asian Studies Undergraduate Student Group, KGK, has organized a departmental meet & greet for all students within the department. KGK would like for students new to the University of Alberta who may be considering doing a major or minor in East Asian Studies to receive more information about the department and what it has to offer. Students will have the opportunity of meeting faculty and instructors outside of a classroom setting, as well as getting to meet senior students in the department.

The meet & greet will consist of welcoming comments from Desiree Kiefer, this year's KGK president, as well as Professor Ryan Dunch, Chair of East Asian Studies. There will also be presentations from each of the disciplines in EAS (Japanese, Chinese, East Asian Studies), KGK, and the Conversation Clubs on campus (JCC, ACE).

If you can attend this event, please let KGK know by sending them an email at kgk@ualberta.ca. There will be food and drink provided so the need to have a general idea as to how many people will be present.
