Applications for the Harbin Summer Program are due on January 20, 2020. All applicants will automatically be considered for all available scholarships. This year, however, you need to submit your application by Dec 31, 2019 if you would like to be considered for the Chinese Government (CLIC) Scholarships.
Before filling out your application form, you are required to first read carefully our Harbin Program guide, available at 2020-harbin-program-guide.

As part of your application, you must provide one recommendation, through the above online reference form. Ordinarily, this recommendation should be provided by your most recent Chinese instructor. Personal references are not accepted.
Decisions about admissions to the program will be announced by February 1. At that time, all required forms will be distributed to students; all of these forms must be filled in and returned to the department by March 1. Also at that time, you will be provided with a link to pay your required $300 fee (plus 4% service charge) online. Those who do not turn in all their forms and fees by March 1 will not be allowed to join the program.
