Traveling to Edmonton

Flight travel to Edmonton is serviced by an international airport and there are two main flight providers in Canada, Air Canada and West Jet.

Service from Airport into Edmonton

The international airport in Edmonton is located about 30 km from Edmonton city centre. There are several options for travel into the city.

Shuttle service is provided by Skyshuttle Airport Service. Adult return fare is $30 CAD (including GST). It is necessary to book the service online or by calling (780) 465-8515 . There are various pick-up/drop-off locations throughout the city, including sites near the university campus and downtown.

Taxi service runs regularly from the airport into the city through Airport Taxi Service. There are flat rates from various locations in the city, ranging between $30 to $75 CAD.

By Coach

There are two main coach providers in Edmonton. The Red Arrow is a "first class" coach service that operates within the province of Alberta and makes stops at the international airports in Edmonton and Calgary. The Red Arrow has two drop-off/pick-up locations in Edmonton, one downtown and another at the Best Western Cedar Park Inn.

The Greyhound is a national carrier that operates within Alberta and throughout the country, with two drop-off points in Edmonton at downtown and south-side locations.

By Car

Edmonton is located on Highway 16 (Yellowhead) and on Highway 2.
