ENGAGE 2017: Celebration of Research & Teaching Excellence

About ENGAGE 2017

Since we became the first stand-alone faculty of education in Canada in 1942, the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta has been a leader in the post-secondary sector in the areas of educational research and scholarship and the preparation of teachers.

Seventy-five years later, we celebrate the achievements and initiatives of our faculty, students and alumni who have made us what we are today: one of the best faculties of education in the world, committed to community-engaged research and scholarship that contributes to the public good.

Our 75th anniversary celebrations kick off on March 23, 2017, with ENGAGE 2017: A Celebration of Research & Teaching Excellence.
