Application Deadlines

Note: There are two application deadlines for M.Ed. admissions: October 01 and March 01. The doctoral program has one application deadline: January 15. 

The academic year runs from September to August and is divided into four academic terms. The masters program has four entry dates. The doctoral program has only one entry date.

Application portal for entry to Spring, Summer, Fall 2019 and Winter 2020 terms are open November 01, 2018 closing March 01, 2019. 

Application portal for entry to Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall 2020 terms will open May/June 2019 closing October 01, 2019.

Doctoral Program Applications

The Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctorate of Education (EdD) have the same application deadline. Applications are accepted for admission to the Fall term only.

Under special circumstances applications received after the deadline may be considered.


For all programs:
Please be prepared to take electives the first year of your program if core courses are not available.

*Please note: Admission decisions can take up to two months for the review process to be entirely completed. After an admissions decision is made international students will need time to obtain their study visa and arrive in Canada. It is HIGHLY recommended that international applicants to the M.Ed. program apply for Fall term admission.
