CaRMS 2021

Dear Class of 2021:

First of all, a big thank you for everything that you’ve been doing to help during these unprecedented times. We realize how disruptive the COVID pandemic has been to your lives and education. We have been so encouraged to hear and read about your selfless contributions in recent weeks: collecting PPE donations, offering childcare for hospital workers, grocery and pharmacy runs for seniors, assisting with public health contact tracing, and taking care of your loved ones when their normal caregivers cannot. Thank you!

Undoubtedly, you have all received notice that CaRMS 2021 will be different than previous years. The timeline has been pushed back and all interviews will be virtual. This means we won’t be able to host an in-person CaRMS event or provide facility tours - we have so much fun every year and are sad that we are unable to do so for you.

There is still a lot of uncertainty, specifically with regards to when electives can resume. We hope students will return to clinical duties this fall. Class of 2021 students will need to complete their core rotations as well as elective rotations in the compressed time available. Our Undergraduate office will provide direction on incoming and local electives.

In the meantime, if you have questions about our program, please submit a questions here:

We will monitor the questions and do our best to get you answers. We will not be able to answer each of you directly, however. Stay tuned to this page for updates.

Stay safe and stay in touch!
