The Crisis Management Team
operates out of the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC), located on North Campus. A backup EOC is located on South Campus, for those situations when an incident threatens the North Campus EOC location.
The Augustana EOC is located in the Roger Epp Boardroom in Camrose. This satellite EOC serves the same function as the North Campus EOC for incidents involving Augustana campus.
The EOC functions as a point of coordination, anticipating and supporting the needs of the incident site or sites, as well as addressing the needs of the University as a whole.
Essential equipment, supplies and a copy of the Integrated Emergency Master Plan are in a location accessible to the EOC.
The CMT makes agressive use of Google Apps for information sharing and planning, though paper copies of all necessary documents are maintained.
Staff from Emergency Management act as EOC Coordinators, to make sure the CMT can function. EM staff are not the decision makers on the CMT.
