Gilead Lecture 2023 and Graduate Awards

The 2023 Gilead Alberta Lecture in Organic Chemistry took place on May 17. Professor Martin Burke (University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign), delivered an inspiring lecture entitled "Imagine a World Where Everyone Can Make Molecules".
Along with the lecture, the 2021 and 2022 Gilead Alberta Graduate Award of Excellence in Organic Chemistry were formally presented to
2021: Zain Kazmi (Hall Group) and Mikel Allas (Lowary Group) (absent).
2022: Tess Lamer (Vederas Group)
The awards were presented by Dr. Ho-Yan Sun, representing Gilead Alberta.
