Introduction to Comprehensive Gender Care for Trans and Gender Diverse Clients

Standards of Care, Barriers to Care, and Advocacy

Led by Dr. Taymy Caso, this workshop will focus on comprehensive gender care for trans and gender diverse people as well as best practices for providing culturally-responsive health services for BIPOC and LGBTQIA communities. We will discuss evidence-based research, barriers to care that contribute to health disparities, and ways to prevent and address microaggressions in clinical care.
