The river valley turning green again! I love spending time in the trees with my dog; the sun is lovely. I find it much easier to go outside when I don’t have to wear a billion layers! I also love seeing all of the different geological formations in the river valley and in the rock garden on North Campus.

Going camping! I love setting up the tent, cooking over a fire (especially roasting marshmallows!) and waking up to birds instead of an alarm clock. Being surrounded by nature helps me relax and take a break from the busyness of everyday life. I can't wait to spend time hiking, swimming, paddle boarding and enjoying peaceful evenings under the stars.

I'm really looking forward to my study abroad program at Copenhagen Business School (CBS) in Denmark. I've always wanted to pursue an exchange program and am finally going to complete one in my final semester as an undergraduate student at U of A. I've heard great things about the food and the culture – and CBS is a great school! I can't wait to fly to Copenhagen for a few weeks of travel and fun learning!

Spending more time outdoors and exploring new places in Alberta. After a busy school year, I’m excited to go on some hikes, visit national parks and maybe even go camping with friends. It’s a chance to relax, enjoy nature and make some great memories before the fall semester starts again.

Spending lots of time in the river valley. Since I moved back to Edmonton at the end of August 2024, it's been a long time since I’ve spent a whole summer here. There are many trails, so I’m excited to cycle, walk and run as much as possible. I highly recommend Mill Creek Ravine or Buena Vista Park.

I also always look forward to the fantastic festivals that take place in Edmonton, such as the Fringe, Heritage Days, Taste of Edmonton and FreeWill Shakespeare.

Although the U of A’s North Campus is nice in any season, I really enjoy spending time there in the summer when it's relatively quiet, the trees are leafy and all of the flowers are in bloom. Since I live nearby, you’ll be able to find me climbing in the WCC, working out in the HFLC or reading a book while lounging outside in Quad.
