Alumni Awards*

Celebrate the extraordinary accomplishments of alumni and get inspired to do great things. The UAlberta Alumni Awards ceremony honours the diverse accomplishments and contributions of outstanding grads. The ceremony is followed by a dessert reception where you can meet and congratulate award recipients.

This year, we are proud to have three of our alumni among the winners!

Class of 1959 Engineering Alumni Luncheon*

We invite our Class of 1959 and their guests to join us for our annual Alumni Weekend luncheon, a special celebration for your 60th anniversary of graduating from the Faculty of Engineering!

Wear your 60-year-pin with pride, and join us for a delicious lunch with Dean Fraser Forbes. We look forward to welcoming you - and those who graduated before - back to campus, and to one of our Faculty’s most cherished Alumni Weekend traditions.

Engineering Alumni Reunion*

Let’s celebrate your reunion!

Are you from the Engineering Class of… ...2004?...1999?...1994?...1989?...1984?...1979?...1974?...1969?...1964?..1959?...or earlier???

Join us for a reunion of our milestone anniversary years - and a chance to update your class photo as we celebrate our Faculty and all you’ve accomplished since graduation! Dean Fraser Forbes will host our alumni, current students, and faculty members at a memorable evening where you can reconnect with classmates and colleagues - and make some new friends along the way!

Golden Bears Hockey Game and Block Party*

Kick off Alumni Weekend with the “Battle of Alberta” as the UAlberta Golden Bears hockey team take on the Calgary Dinos! Start the evening with some food and drink at our pre-game Block Party BBQ, and then let’s fill the Drake with Green and Gold to cheer on the Bears!

GOLD ticket package includes admission and food at the Block Party (burger, salad, and one non-alcoholic drink voucher) and Hockey Game ticket (including one complimentary beverage and swag item per person). *Limited number available.

GREEN ticket package includes Hockey Game ticket and swag item per person. Let’s go Bears!

Kids on Campus with DiscoverE*

All alumni and their families are invited to join DiscoverE, our award-winning STEM education program, for a fun-filled day of hands-on engineering activities designed to help budding young scientists and engineers explore the wonderful world of nature. Build a bee hotel, design a circuit bug, or just for fun, make a liquid nitrogen marshmallow! We'll have fun for all ages.
