The Faculty of Engineering Graduate Research Symposium is an annual faculty-wide event where graduate students from all five departments share research results, build interdisciplinary collaborations, network with sponsors, and develop professional skills.
Five hundred members of the research community attend this student-run event, which includes a day of professional development seminars and a day of research presentations.
Graduate students share their research results in a series of more than 100 oral and poster presentations in sessions organized around interdisciplinary themes.
The symposium is organized by an inter-departmental committee with representatives from each department. Highlights include panel discussions, invited keynote speakers and opportunities to meet researchers from across the faculty.
