Applied Nonlinear Controls Lab

Alan F Lynch is the Director of the Applied Nonlinear Controls Lab (ANCL), as well as a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, at the University of Alberta.

ANCL researches theory and application of nonlinear control. This field studies the analysis, prediction, and influence of systems described by nonlinear mathematical models. These models capture complex behaviour for a broad range of applications. ANCL balances the derivation of nonlinear control theory with its application on test stands for experimental validation.

I am currently seeking PhD students in robotics. Click here for details
